Classes

Our aim is to help educators understand technology so they can help their students.

Our classes provide an understanding of programming concepts, and how to apply these to interactive STEM projects. Learn the basics of writing and executing programs, and how to apply these learnings to physical devices. Our classes focus on the micro:bit device using the visual programming language MakeCode Blocks. Our classes are designed to help anyone who wants to learn to program a physical device so they can teach it to students.

Our classes are suitable for beginners. There are no prerequisites.

It is recommended that you have a micro:bit and a microUSB cable that can connect to your computer, but they are not required. The programming software contains a micro:bit simulator. This can be used for beginning programming. If your computer does not have a USB-A port, you will need an adapter that works for your computer.
